Short company description

Lead Sleeve is a UK manufacturer of sublimation-ready dog leash sleeve blanks. Founded in Plymouth in 2024 by a father-and-son team, the company designs and ships category-defining printable blanks to makers, brands, charities and distributors worldwide. Its flagship product, the registered Lead Sleeve®, slips over any existing dog lead and turns it into a full-colour printable surface — used for nervous, reactive, deaf and service dogs, charity walks, dog daycares and personalised gifting.

Founder bios

David and Ben started Lead Sleeve as a small father-and-son project following the loss of David's wife and Ben's mother. What began as a way to spend time together became an obsession with personalisation and sublimation. After speaking to dog owners, makers and print providers across the UK and hearing the same story — almost no innovation in the category — they set out to build the product themselves. The Lead Sleeve is the first of many sublimation products the two are developing.
